This site will be your guide to becoming a productive and focused student while maintaining your sanity by using the plethora of tools and techniques at your disposal in this day and age. Technology is reshaping the way we work, learn and ultimately succeed. It is absolutely essential that we as students take advantage of the resources available to us. We are fortunate to be entering into our professional careers in a world where access to the information superhighway of the internet is only a WiFi hot spot and a tall Starbucks latte away. 24 hours a day we can access our email, schedules, course syllabus, colleagues’ contact information, facebook, funny photos of last weekend, the videos we didn’t know were posted of us on YouTube, that hilarious YouTube video of the potato shooter, potatoe.com…. wait, weren’t we talking about something?
With all of these great distractions resources just waiting to be tapped into, it is important to remember that any successful undertaking, be it your freshman year of college, internship opportunity, dissertation, first job or startup company, requires a clear plan of attack and the tools to execute said plan. The plan is not the key, however, it is the lock. It is the thing between you and your goals. It protects them but you have to open the door and make it happen.
It is my hope that you will find the key to open that lock here. Its all about creating your best work and making the most of the limited resources you have available to you, the most limited being your time.
